The 12 Days of Easter | A Christ-Centered Tradition

The 12 Days of Easter was created to help families slow down, gather together, and focus on the life, love, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ during the days leading up to Easter Sunday.

This beautiful, hands‑on tradition invites your family to walk through key moments from the Savior’s life—one day at a time.

How It Works

Starting 12 days before Easter, gather as a family each day to:

• Read a short scripture and devotional about a moment from the life of Jesus Christ
• Hold and reflect on a symbolic ornament that represents that story
• Place (or return) the ornament on the Easter tree as a visual reminder of His journey

Families can choose how to use it:

• Start with all ornaments on the tree, removing one each day and placing it back after discussion
• Or start with an empty tree, adding one ornament each day as Easter approaches

By Easter Sunday, your family will have reflected on 12 meaningful moments that prepare your hearts for the Resurrection.
